BRAIN SURGERY- WIRED NOV 2010

Yep, That's me in the green scrubs.

I just photographed the neurosurgeon Dr. Michael Lim and a three hour + brain surgery at John Hopkins in Baltimore for the Nov 2010 issue of Wired. It was fascinating to watch Dr. Lim and his colleagues perform what you can only imagine while being completely at ease- just another day in the shop for these superheroes. I really enjoyed the operating room banter the most. I wasn't sure how I'd hold up, but I did fine even after hearing the drill start up and seeing dust in the air- all to the beats of Lady Gaga playing in the background.
